On the team some of us are against celebrating Valentines Day and some are more accepting of it. We’re not fiqhis, scholars, or educated persons fit to give an opinion on the matter. We do have the ability to hold sales for MuslimTees! So buy a few shirts, one for yourself and a some for your loved ones. Why? Not because you love them for Valentines Day but because you love them for the sake of Allah everyday.
Let us know what you think! Love the idea, hate the idea, we only become stronger with your help.
Enjoy!
Salaam. Z.

Valentines day is a Western-corpocrat invention designed to fill cash registers. V-day is a rejection of love. Instead, it manipulates emotions and true feelings by psychologically requiring each partner to purchase an inanimate object to demonstrate their feelings. This subverts the true emotions and displaces it with false-expectations and is based on commerce and profit. Reject V-day and all it stands for.

I love the idea! I don’t see any harm in doing it, and who doesn’t like discounts??

As Salaamu alaykum,
It is a Pharisee business model. Why discount the item? It would have been sold at that price the entire time by an ethical business person. Price manipulation and the impression of giving the customer “a deal” is deceptive and drives away repeat customers.

Wa alaikum assalam everyone,
Thanks for your honest feedback. This was just an experiment we decided to try. We may or may not have more in the future. That’s part of business I guess, testing what you feel works and what feels right.
Thanks again.
